Every year I have problems finding comfortable sandals that are reasonably. I got these in gold first and now have the black! I hope other colours will become available at a great price!

I saw these online and really liked them, but noted what other reviewers had said about the ankle straps being way too short. I decided to pop into the Crawley branch (super friendly staff, btw, there) and try some on. Yes, it’s true, the ankle strap is definitely too short - but my ankles are near cankles, not my best feature….. BUT the strap will fit if I make an extra hole in it, which is what I’m going to do. The sandals are well-made, brilliant for the price, surprisingly comfortable as the toe section is wide enough for an “E” fitting and the shoes don’t “pull” at the ankle when walking along. They are a great buy for a smart casual look and a useful holiday-type sandal that goes with everything. I think if you can get to an actual Matalan store to try on to see about the ankle strap, it’s probably worth it.

These are really comfy and what a great price with the discount code. I’m between 4 and 5 but found size 4 just right. Ankle strap doesn’t give much adjustment but I found the strap fitted comfortably.

Look nice not the high so perfect size wedge for me can’t wait to wear

Try before you buy, as many other reviews have said, the ankle strap is far too short and unless you have narrow ankles which luckily I have, you won’t be able to do the ankle strap up! Such a shame as they are a fabulous sandal.
