Bad Sizing

I bought these last Monday (8 days ago) and only just worn them today. I bought size 7. When I tried them on, they fitted like a glove, but when I actually started walking in them, they kept coming off! I think size 6 would have been too tight, size 6.5 would have been just right, but Matalan don't do half sizes unfortunately.
