Base peeled off

I was brought these as a present from my friend and although they are very comfortable and look great, in less than a month the pebble look base that wraps around the edge of the shoe started to peel off. I have tried three different glues as they are such lovely shoes but every time they peel off. Had them for just over a month and I can no longer wear them. Such a shame!
