I always have such a problem when it comes to buying smart trousers that I can wear to work as I always find the sizing on them to be off in most stores - they're either too long and too tight or aren't comfortable enough to move in etc. I used to have to buy trousers like these a size or two up and then take up the hem for them to fit okay but even then the material was often fairly thin and they wouldnt last long, and I'd be paying over £20. However, my last pair of trousers I'd gotten from Matalan. They were different from these ones as I'd gotten them a while ago but they were around the same price I'm sure. They were extremely comfortable and the material felt like it was of a better quality in comparison to trousers I'd purchased from other retailers not to mention i only had to go one size up with them (probably something that's just to do with my body shape and not something everyone will have to do) but the length of them was ideal. They lasted a good while as well before they eventually wore away at the inner seam but that's expected when they're getting worn almost daily. Anyway when I needed new ones I wanted to go back and get the same ones as i knew they'd be reliable and £16 is a great price considering how long they lasted me. I purchased these ones thinking they were the same but there's a slight difference in the buttons and waistband. I actually prefer these ones though as they have everything my old ones had with the added bonus of a more comfortable waistband. My only issue with them is that I had to get a size bigger than I ordinarily would for jeans and other types of trousers but that could just be a me problem rather than it being a sizing issue with the product - unless others have had the same problem.

Great shape and cut, even when they are shortened. Black trousers can be casual or dressed up, with nice coloured shoes and a top.
