I have been buying these leggings on and off for over 3 years. However the quality and the lycra content as well as the colour differ each time. This time the leggings were dark black 6"rather than a dark grey on my previous purchase6". They were 4% lycra not 6% stated in the description. It used to state they were 7% and I emailed Matalan to highlight this was incorrect (I had received 4% at the time and they were too tight on the calf) however received no reply. They appear to have made the calves a little more giving in the set I received and therefore the 4% is acceptable however Matalan do need to get their quality checking together.

These are really lovely and comfortable, they are stretchy as well and they are a good fit. They are really comfy around the waist and they aren't tight. The fabric stretches out but doesn't go see-through like most other leggings I've tried. They wash really well and dry quickly too because of the fabric they are made from. Next time I might just buy a little longer in the leg as they do have the tendency to ride up a little bit at the ankle, but I think this is me pulling them up at the waist higher than I should rather than a manufacturing fault.

I bought two pairs of these leggings for work, I’m 5ft3” and was surprised they fit to my ankle perfectly. They do have a lot of stretch to them so I would recommend sizing down as mine fall down a little the longer I have them on.

Super comfortable yet quite smart looking. I would have given five stars if there was a little more support and 'suck in' round the waist.
