Velcro stops sticking after a few months

My daughter loved these shoes, however I purchased in early October and it is now December and the velcro no longer sticks and the shoes fall off as she is walking. Shame because they are comfy and a nice design, but no longevity.

Lovely style unfortunately didnt fit my daughter she is at that awkward stage where a sise 1 is too small and 2 is too big not a lot of shops add fbe half to a size. Maybe this could be a suggestion to cater for please? 😀
