The bedding looks nice on the bed it offers an interesting texture and a young, fresh, modern look. It washed well, bright white in colour and although reviewers say it doesnt need ironing i would say if you turn the quilt back the underside of the cover is very wrinkled. I also found it takes forever to dry in the tumble dryer and seems to go in to a ball wrapping itself around itself, so i had to give it a few shake outs mid cycle. The packaging doesnt state the thread count and the weave is clearly visible, but unless you are looking closely I dont think its too noticable Originally ordered 3 bedding sets, kept one which I had opened and washed. Returned the other two. I have to say the returns process with the stores being closed was not very good. I returned the items by post (£13) and was given an incorrect refind. Contacted Matalan customer services and was offered a voucher for the difference. The reason I was given was it was inconvenient for their systems to refund the outstanding amount back to the card I bought the items with. Im still waiting for a resolution. The returns process has tarnished this purchase for me and hence the rating.

Absolutely love this bedding!! So comfy and no ironing required. Liked it so much I ordered in the light grey also.
